Is my tank cycled? Green is good, right?
Well, it's more blue than green, now. There's no meme/joke flair, sadly.
The ammonia test turned dark teal on my new 75g 🤣 I wonder what the actual ppm is so I can write it down. I'll probably do a 1:4 ratio of tank n tap to see if I can get it on the scale.
Before anyone asks, I expected a high ammonia level. I have saf t sorb "gravel" from 3-6 inches deep and intentionally put things in to rot weeks before I fully filled the tank, so the ammonia can get locked in the gravel for plants. As soon as this tank cycles I'll put in a large amount of guppies from my other tanks, so it won't just crash the moment it's converted all the ammonia out
